St. Lucia Airport

St. Lucia is one of the more sizable Caribbean Islands allowing for multiple St. Lucia airports. The smaller St. Lucia airport, George Charles Airport, in Castries deals with much of the inter-Caribbean air traffic. Many of the small Caribbean airlines use this St. Lucia airport as their St. Lucia hub. Guests will find that Air Caraibes, Caribbean Star, and LIAT all use this St. Lucia airport.

The larger St. Lucia airport, Hewanorra International, is a very modern facility. This particular St. Lucia airport handles incoming air traffic from the US and Europe. Most of the major carriers who handle Caribbean routes offer direct of indirect service to this St. Lucia airport. Hewanorra is the St. Lucia airport that is located on the Southern tip of the Island, aside from the international lines, smaller flights do also arrive from Barbados and Jamaica.
