Description
The Sunset villa is a new (2002) typically Caribbean villa built on top of a mountain in the Gross Islet area. A large balcony overlooking the pool offers 360-degree spectacular views over the island with views of sunrises over the Atlantic, Martinique to the north and the magnificent mountains of the island to the south with sunsets out over Rodney Bay Marina and the Caribbean Sea. As the day progresses, you need only move your chair to watch this natural spectacle.
The interiors are tastefully furnished and provide a cozy environment. The sitting room flows into the cheerful kitchen and this central area of the home is surrounded by large, glass doors and wooden louvered windows which permit as much light and breeze in as possible. An outdoor patio provides the perfect setting for dining alfresco.
The home offers two bedrooms each with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, four-poster queen sized bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms offer views of the Atlantic Ocean and the eastern hillside. The master bedroom has a balcony that offers simply breathtaking views.
Outside there is a spacious covered, furnished and tiled verandah overlooking the pool, which is set in a stone deck.
While the Sunset villa is very private it is located within a short distance of restaurants, shops, activities, golf, horseback riding etc.
